Meet Our Team

In our office, you'll find four designers and six support staff to keep your projects running smoothly.

The Design Team:

Pamela Rawles and Elizabeth Swank:
Principals Betsy Swank and Pam Rawles are both graduates of DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, and both are registered with the State of Illinois as Licensed Interior Designers. Pam and Betsy have completed Advanced Kitchen Design coursework in addition to lighting seminars, computer design classes, and window treatment specialty training. Both are Allied Members of ASID.

Terry Williams:
Terry has worked at Designs in Context for over twenty years and is a graduate of Mundelein College in Chicago. Besides doing color consultations and floor planning, she is a window treatment specialist. She strives to help clients find expression of their personal preferences while creating beautiful spaces. She has a large following of repeat clients and referrals.

Anna Macanowicz:
Anna is a graduate of the prestigious Harrington Institute of Interior Design and has been with Designs in Context since 2002. She brings her commercial design background to her residential clients and specializes in imaginative space planning, integration of impressive décor and creative kitchen, bath and home office design. She has also completed extensive computer design training and specialized lighting design classes.

And the Support Staff:

Our office staff consists of Design Assistants Liz Halbert and Julia Karnstedt, Resource Librarian Susan Willbond, Accounting Manager Molly Siebert, and Administrative Assistant Sarah Mullen. They keep our office running smoothly, as well as keeping on top of orders, deliveries and contractor schedules. As a design client, you'll learn they're always available to offer friendly, reliable assistance.
